LC is in fact Lake City and 15 is 2015 year and they do not stamp the caliber on the cases.
I would say .308 /7.62x51 unless it is smaller than that then 223/5.56

Knew it wasn't 5.56, that's what he was concerned with, it was in his pick ups, which should have been 5.56, 9mm it 40 S&W. I was not about to just start looking at every possible round in the book.

If that's a 5.56 he's got the smallest hands I've ever seen....

I'm sure it was not 300BO. It measure real close to 308, just off by a thousandth or 2 which I figure is the chamber it was fired from.

From left to right, 5.56, 300BO, 458 SOCOM, 243 Win, 6.5CM, and the now confirmed 308 Win.

That is a .308. Or since the NATO stamp is there it defaults to 7.62x51.
Reload it and enjoy.
