Glock 33 with 16 rnds of 147 gr Hornady XTP, and a strobe capable tactical light

That's a lot of rounds for a 33. You won't need that strobe, the muzzle flash will be blinding.
The 33 is one of my favorites though.

Still trying to think of an extended .45 17 round mag. He might have a B&T, which does have a 17 round mag, and I'd be jealous.

S&W makes a 14 for the M&P 45. That gets you to 15 counting the chamber. Maybe an aftermarket base plate? IIRC the S&W is a standard tube with their own extension. I've never looked for aftermarket as I traded it off but maybe...

Ruger P89, S&W 38 for the wife and a Mossy 12 riot just in case. Frankly by the time they get past our dogs they may welcome getting shot. The female will be chewing on them while the male will hike a leg on them just to add insult to injury.
