Those of us interested in Martini Henry and Snider Rifles got together and started a forum called British Militaria. We cover British Arms of Queen Victoria's era and earlier as well as old guns from that era that generally aren't covered by other forums-mostly European. Do you have a Werndl or Kammerlader? We have people who can help. British Militaria also is the home the Victorian Rifleman Gatherings. We have had gatherings in 5 different countries-Australia, South Africa, Canada, UK and the US. The gathering in Springtown PA features a day visit to IMA where you can comb through their inventory and hand pick what want, especially from the famous cache of arms that came from Nepal. Politics allowed only in the soapbox section which is very slow. Gentlemanly conduct required, but that is the norm anyway, and rarely needs reminded. Politics- and female nudity but the way the board is set up you can avoid and never be exposed. If they didn't cover Martini rifles, Old British single shoots and their cartridges, I wouldn't be there.
