Glocks I know they are a great, super reliable firearm. When it comes to reliability I know they are the gold standard. However manufacturering processes, quality components, and mechanical engineering across the industry has caught up. I have Rugers, Sigs, S&Ws, etc that I trust as much as I would a Glock. Maybe it’s because I am on the younger side of the gun world and didn’t live in the era where it wasn’t always that way. To me they lack in ergonomics as compared to a lot of the guns in the industry. I get that you put enough rounds down range your body learns so love it, but there are so many better options off the shelf. But the biggest turn off is the elitist mentality some of the Glock fanboys have. Not all, in fact it’s a very small percentage but they are a loud minority. There are a few LGS that I will not go back to because a salesman tried to push me on to a Glock acting like all other guns are **** comparatively. You see it with all makes but Glock has the biggest following of this mentality.
