If I remember correctly Olympic arms went belly up a short time ago, or shortly will. Just working off memory for that info.

Warrantee work ceased back in January so think you're right. Website is still up and speaks of "Transition" so maybe they sold the company, but doesn't say much else

.243 WSSM is a screamer. @dennishoddy has one and all but talked me into making one myself. Just waiting on the winter months and it will get done.

Oh yeah, lots of variables. The SAAMI specs allow for 65K pressures in the .243WSSM, and the bolt is not the same as the 5.56. It's parent cartridge is the .300WSM. The bolts have been designed to handle that. My gun has probably a thousand rounds through it with almost zero cleaning after the 200 round break in as suggested by the MFG. It shot sub moa when new, and shoots the same now.
I clean barrels when they start losing accuracy in all of my guns.

Other than the bolt face its still a standard 556 bolt and carrier right?
