Well it won't happen because China needs the revenue too, but if it did we would be totally effed ! We are not living anything close to where it would be if they really shut it down !
THAT is why I was asking about just a slowdown. Boiling a frog, don't you know.

We have a cargo issues in our own country because there are not nearly enough truck drivers to keep the pipeline full and moving.
Yep. My employer, who is a Fortune 50 company and a HUGE manufacturer, let us know in the previous week that numbers of Chinese ports are shuttered or on very limited operations and that there are major global shipping issues that will persist for many months to years to come. That is what I am going off of currently.

Would it be a novel idea to get a leader in office that might want to help make the US a little more independent? Get rid of some of the stupid regulations and red tape? Hummm Something to think about, right?
