where or how are you planning on carring it...

This is part of the problem. I haven't figured out a what I like best as far as carrying a backup. I was thinking about an ankle holster, but I've never been a big fan of carrying a weapon on my ankle. Possibly weak side hip. I don't know.

right now either my S&W model 65 3 inch or my M&P .40 full size

For the summer I carry my taurus .380 or my Colt agent, When winter time comes around I'll be carrying one of my 1911's.

Walther PPKs or S&W airweight.

Cooler times with more clothing Glock 23.

LCP works best for me during the summer ( basketball shorts and t-shirt make everything else a little tough to conceal). When
It cools down I will be happily carrying my xd40.

I am currently carrying a LCR, simply because in my iwb, I can easily conceal it.
