AK 47. Cheap ammo and throw it in and forget about it. If you feel a need, pour some 30wt. oil down the barrel.

I have some velcro straps in the cab of the tractor for an AR or a shotgun, in each of our three vehicles, there is a Kahr CW-40 in the door pocket with a IWB holster for carry outside, and if in the truck, there is an AR in the tool compartment under the back seat.

It was, I had it for a almost a decade and shot the barrel out of it. Our late Don Franson did the barrel cut, recrown, and front sight relocate. The fireball that thing launched was phenomenal. Unfortunately by the time I traded it off I could not hit the barn side of a broad with it. Round count was in the thousands probably. Got a 336Y out of it.
