Oh, Lawdy!! Reminds me of the time in East Texas and we were walking into the cattle auction, late one Saturday morn. The other animals had just finished and this Mexican looking man (gender assumed) had a small red hatchback. And in the back of that small red hatchback was a goat. The goat was tied with a rope to the passenger seat head rest and was standing in the back area. And we heard the goat steadily talking as they pulled out of the drive and rolled onto the state highway with the hatchback up and the goat tied in. Just having a grand ol’ time. Man, we laughed way harder than we should have. And I’m sure a cabrito feast was enjoyed by a lot of people that weekend.
I read a news article about it several years ago. Apparently, he takes that bovine with him everywhere, but I can’t remember where he called home base.
It was near Okeene, I think. I know this guy’s cousin who sent me the picture. I’ve got a few other pictures as well. Apparently, this was a show animal.
