I can remember as a kid when we lived in Claremore, we would go see my grandparents in the Horntown community (how many of ya'll know where THAT is) about every two or three weeks. Every time we would go by the whale, I would beg my folks to stop...but alas, they never did.

I used to drive thru Horntown several times a year, travelling from McAlester to western OK...always hated that turnpike from McAlester to I-40, so I'd take 270 across to Seminole exit 200, then get on 40

Yup. That's my old stompin' grounds. All my kin folks live there at Horntown.
