Used to run down to Newport and Huntington beaches pretty regularly. Orange County was pretty conservative when I was out there, but it's been about 15 years and I worked in aerospace so generally I was around like minded folks anyway. It sounds like all those undocumented democrat voters have really done a job on OC. :( To your question the area Rawhide is talking about is pretty nice. I was driving through there this summer and thinking I could live out that way myself. I'm looking to do similar and get out of the city myself in a short time hopefully. One of the guys I worked with out there (from OK too) bought 160 acres just east of Stigler. It had a modular home on it and he actually got all the minerals too. Neither of us will come close to getting the deal he got. $87K. I'd do a mortgage if I could find that deal today!
