Suggestions on which 7.62x54R surplus ammo?

    Over at AIM they have:

Bulgarian Steel core from the 1970's "Phenomenal"

Russian Steel Core from the 70's-80's "Super Clean"

I have never used either. (Just now getting ready to purchase a Mosin Nagant Rifle)

This should be moved to the Ammo discussion area. I dont have a preference. If its cheap I buy it! I havnt had bad experiences with 7.62x54R ammo as much as other surplus calibers like .308, or 8mm.

some ammo is prettier, some folks say the bulgarian shoots better....I am like Been and buy what is the best deal...all the x54r ammo I have purchased all shoots minute of badguy or paper target just fine.

Best for what? Go "BOOM!!" - cheapest. Accuracy - supposedly 7N1 but I've never seen it first hand.
