Arguments on what's obscure or not, and whether or not there is a legitimate role for any of these to fill aside, what uncommon or new handgun round would you like to see catch on?

Catching on includes increased production of both guns and ammo to the point of mainstream pricing.

Think 5.7x28mm, .25 NAA, .32 NAA, 9x25 Dillon, .400 Corbon, .45 GAP, .45 Super, .460 Rowland, .440 Corbon, etc..

Guess I should cast my vote if I'm gonna ask.

I'd like to see the .460 Rowland get big. Considering it was designed to mimic the performance of the .44 Magnum in the same size package as the .45 ACP. Seems pretty useful.

Super hot factory ammo.

From what I've seen factory 38 super is kind of comparable to 9mm +P.

I'll second the 9X23. Loaded with one of the bonded HP's it's gotta be good.

Here's some interesting data...

9x19mm Para. - 125 GR. LCN Winchester 231 .OAL 1.125" 3.9grs 1009fps 25,700 CUP, 4.4grs 1086fps 31,200 CUP

38 Super Auto - 125 GR. LCN Winchester 231 OAL 1.230" 5.1grs 1129fps 27,900 CUP, 5.7grs 1214fps 32,600 CUP

9x23mm Winchester - 125 GR. JHP Winchester 231 OAL 1.300" 5.3grs 1180fps 38,000 PSI, 6.3grs 1300fps 46,000 PSI
