I'm voting for Luke Sherman. I wouldn't vote for anyone currently attached to the sheriffs department. As time goes on, there have been more and more allegations of corruption, cronyism, and mismanagement. None of the candidates have any track record for ever having been a squeaky wheel trying to fix anything in the department. That means they are either complacent in their moral obligations, or they are complicit. Neither of those seems acceptable to me. So that brings it down to the two leading candidates, both TPD officers, Luke Sherman and Vic Regaldo. As a Tulsa resident, I get tired of what I call the mid-town money crowd. The wealthy good old boy network that drives so much of the city politics. Vic's fundraising is beyond conspicuous. It reaks of the type of corruption and cronyism that got Glanz ousted. Tulsa World covered that fundraising issue in this link http://www.tulsaworld.com/news/crimewatch/quarter-of-tulsa-county-sheriff-candidate-vic-regalado-s-campaign/article_36626fdd-35c0-5692-bf15-f30482a5339e.html Sherman's opinion on 2A rights https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5apMCSClYv0 Sherman's opinion on civil asset forfeiture.
