Lets say I list some 10/22 parts far sale in the classifieds. I have a few different people ask about the item, over a few hours. I respond to the first person that asked about the item and the shipping price (before the second person ever offers to purchase the items), which I respond to with a price, then the next person wants to purchase some of the parts. Do I just drop the first person and sell the item to the second guy or do I give the first person the option to buy it first? I had this happen last night, I told the second guy I would get back to him and discussed the purchase with the first member, which wanted to think it over. He said not to hold it for him. I then gave the second buyer the option to buy, which he did. At the same time, I was doing the same thing as the buyer. In this instance I was getting the full price with shipping, mostly waiting on a reply from the seller, a member jumps in and says he will buy the item, at which point the seller put me in second and sold the item to the other member. My question is, do you complete the purchase with the first person or do you go straight to the second? I will give the first member the option to buy because they asked first. Especially, if they are already asking about the shipping costs.
