[QUOTE="okeydoke, post: 2909586, member: 41320"] We used to have to laboriously load primer-powered wax ammo for our 1911 .45's. Airsoft offers 1/2c per shot, visible in sight and rapidfire (for a few shots, then the gun gets cold from the gas-action and gets weak) There's little to no worry of injury or damage to property, very little noise. So you can practice all you want in a spare room. A big mirror, or having yourself videotaped, is a big help to eliminating the un-necesary motion that is making your draw and hit stroke slow. You can neither scare nor hit anyone with a gun that you don't have in hand and noticed by your attacker. So why be slow on the ccw draw? It's by far more important than small groups or long range. There's never been any proof that anyone, while underfire, can do better than hit the chest at more than 25 yds. There's LOTS of proof that most people miss the chest repeatedly at 10 ft, too.
