Why would Democrats do anything like that? First thing that comes to my mind is more representation in the house. Just like California, if you take out all the illegals they would lose probably a third or more of their seats. That’s why they don’t want just US citizens counted in the census. If we include all the illegals of the world then they get more representation as in power. So why would they do it? The easy answer is power and control. To add to an earlier comment, it appears that Oregon is also gaining in representation, and it is considered a "blue" state.

Exactly! What have the Democrats done during the past four years that would merit them another two years or so? Absolutely nothing! They cannot win on their own merit so they lie, cheat, commit fraud, pass bills that favor them, pack the court, bring in multitudes of illegals, spend million upon millions of dollars on false investigations that turn up nothing and then they repeat the process spending yet more money. They have nothing significant to do but resort to race baiting, calling the opposition names and making false accusations. Otherwise, all work is set aside while they do all the "necessary" tasks in order to keep their coveted positions. They don't do the work they are hired to do and we can do without them if they're that inept! The country would be far better off if we didn't have a congress, they do nothing!

Let me add to your confusion. Some places/states allow illegals to have driver's licenses. With said driver's license, couldn't they just use the motor/voter law to get registered to vote and then do so? In addition to being counted for the census, they could have the ability to "count" in elections.
There was a challenge in the Supreme CT. to Trump's order to not count non citizens in the census. Some type of study was to be done but it has been admitted that "the Census Bureau has acknowledged the discovery of data irregularities in recent weeks that put the Dec. 31 deadline in jeopardy" so apparently the study wasn't finished?

Isn't that amazing. Commiefornika only requires a driver's license to vote, and all illegals are allowed to get drivers licenses, so of course they get counted on a census, and vote for who they are told to.
