[QUOTE="lasher, post: 3240592, member: 40522"] when i was in the first grade the polio vaccine was being tested, we were the test subjects. every first grader in the country was injected, cepting maybe some who hid away. they gave us this funky little pin declaring us polio pioneers for being the test subjects of the series of shots. we routinely got shots at school up until the 6th grade. 1st to 6th grade i had the mumps, measels, chicken pox, and the first "asian" flu outbreak. i guess they had not yet developed the vaccines for the things i came down with, but had they perhaps i would not have spent weeks in bed recovering. bajillions of chicken eggs were used developing and supplying the polio vaccine, horses are used to produce snake anti-venom (at least they were). if you ever had a classmate who had suffered a "mild" case of polio perhaps some anti folks might reflect upon their choices.
