NikatKimber referred me to this forum for assistance.

Could you please tell me which moderator did this and WHY(on my postings listed below(with the links)). I would just like to know if there were good/ethical reasons for this being done(cutting and pasting my links to another's credit and my posting being credited to another member). In most cases like this in the past, the posting(s) were transferred to the 1st poster(earliest poster), credit given to the later poster and the later posting was then deleted. Like I said before, IMHO the way this has been done seems to be straight out of Zuckerberg/Facebook/CNN. Thanks for any help/assistance you can offer.

PS This event happened last week and I waited till over the weekend to see if anything would be done/changed. It wasn't and hasn't changed as of Monday morning-hence the sending of this email.

It's probably my fault. I attempted to merge the threads so that all the info on this topic was in one place, as should be. However, obviously, something went awry. There was no intention to shifting credit to anyone at all. There was no hidden agenda, I simply wanted to merge the threads. Let me go back and see if I can figure out what I might have done wrong. I apologize. If I can't figure it out, I'll have to ask the powers that be to look at it and see if it can be corrected.

Thanks @druryj. I'm pretty busy at work today; but if you can't figure it out, I'll fix it tonight or tomorrow.

We apologize for the mix up, @RugersGR8. We'll get it back in order.

:oops3: This is kind of like proofreading your own writing; if you made anything other than some glaring, really obvious mistake when you initially write something, odds are you'll just skim right over it if you try to proofread it yourself. I find it best to have someone else proofread for you. Well, for me, anyway. I take the blame for the error, :sorry1: and now, gladly shift the fix on to Nikatkimber's shoulders.

Yes. The job of Moderator is a lofty post, yet fraught with perils at every turn. Whattya expect? Let's see... Former USMC Infantryman + Computer = ? I am real good at destroying stuff; fixing it...not so much. :fullauto:
