William (John) Hurt has passed. I will miss he much

First time I ever saw him act was in the movie the Big Chill. He was outstanding. I remember one of his line when arguing with former college frineds at another friends funeral. His friend yelled at him that we were all dear friends and he said "no, we are people that briefely knew each other for a shot time long ago. We know nothing about each other"
That's true for us as well. Old college frineds you knew for a brief time are not your close friends. They are people you know when life was easy.
He starred in so many other thing. I will so miss his acting

To be honest, I had to look him up. I think the only one of his movies that Ihad seen (and liked) was probably The Big Chill. It's incredible that he died just a week shy of his birthday.

After doing a quick search of what he was in the first thing I ever saw him in was Midnight Express. Besides the Big Chill and Alien he was probably in a bunch of other movies I've seen over the years, but to be honest (with some exceptions) I really couldn't identify one actor from another. They just don't make that big of an impression on me.
