Have one of these passed down through the generations. It's in pretty rough condition and so far haven't been able to make out a serial number other than it appears to contain a 5. I'm trying to find a manual somewhere. I came across a board somewhere they'd posted part of one for the 'later B model guns' but my random number 5 isn't overly helpful determining if this would be the book for mine. Info on these seems to be a little sketchy since most of them were apparently exchanged for the model 1897s that would fire the newfangled smokeless powder. I have a feeling my great grandad didn't pay much attention to the fact these weren't intended to shoot modern ammo, but he survived, thankfully. I don't intend to ever shoot it, but would like to get it to an operational level anyway and I can't even get the thing fully disassembled. Anyone know where I might find some information and a manual? Any help or pointers are appreciated.

Seems the 1893 and 1897 are nearly identical. Found this for 1897 disassembly. Maybe it will help on the 1893.

I missed this for some reason. Thanks for posting. I have a catalog/manual ordered and will circle back to seeing if I can make some progress on this thing soon.
