I purchased a this rifle used probably 30 years ago and gave it to my dad as a deer rifle. He used it one year and it sat in a closet. It had a brass tag built into the stock that I had engraved.
It had a firing pin recall by the factory and I had it fixed.
It has a few scratches and not perfect....the trigger guard has considerable wear.

My question, where do I find a value for this rifle. I am thinking about selling but have no idea of its value. I don't want to screw anyone but I also don't want to get screwed.

Any recommendations?

Is that also an aftermarket recoil pad?
If you can prove reliability and accuracy it will bring more..some function well and others just do not.
You can post it for sale around 550 and see if any takers.
If it is very accurate and reliable I would think more.
In the real world of those old guns where parts are hard to find I would think closer to 400-450 for that one.
Not knowing about reliability etc.
