[QUOTE="druryj, post: 3144473, member: 10465"] The Wife and I are going to go down to the Florida Keys sometime this winter. We like B&B's over hotels, good local restaurants, cool things to see and do (besides the norm of guzzling beer and scuba/snorkeling). We did a seafood-oriented vacay to Seattle and Pikes Market a few years back, then followed that with a week on Mt Desert Island in Maine where we did our best to eradicate the lobster population, now we want to go to the Keys to escape the winter, sample Caribbean seafood, wear flips flops with socks, see some cool stuff, hang out on the dock/pier/waterfront etc. Suggestions, recommendations etc. are welcomed. EDIT: We will probably fly to Miami, rent a car and drive on down. Probably stay a few nights mid-way, (Marathon? Islamorada? Key Largo?) then on to Key West for a few more picturesque evenings.
