I guess I'm fortunate. Both of us trade off guns to go up or down depending on arthritis, eyesight changes, and the fact that we now live outside city limits, etc.

And yes, the stock of ammo and reloading supplies/equipment we have does play a major role in gun selection. We adhere to pistol/carbine caliber solutions as well.

When the missus knows to much it goes like this...

New gun? Pft, that's been in the closet/under the bed/in the safe for years. What do you mean it's the brand new model that was just released? Um, it's a prototype for the new model?!? Oh you want it? um sure... (if it saves my hide.)
