I'm looking for a CZ 455 or CZ457 in factory condition to shoot in ARA Factory Class matches. If you have one for sale please contact me and let me know what you have.

Can't help with the 455 but have 2, 452's, one with a martini barrel in it, custom built by a BR shooter
the other is factory varmint barrel .
If your interested send cell # for pics and more info.

Thanks for the message, I really want a 455 or 457 to be competitive with it. Also, semi-automatics are not allowed in ARA matches.

The 452 is the bolt action predecessor to the 455/457, I have one and it's one of our favorites

What was I thinking, the 512?? was that the semi auto? Sorry.

A 455 would be a stretch as far as computation goes but I could "tweak" one enough to possibly be in the running. Right now "Factory Class" rifles must have a price of $1100 or less but you can add or modify the trigger, re-crown the barrel, bed and pillar the action and modify the stock only regarding length of pull. Once that is done you now have a rifle that is at the $1800 mark w/o the scope.

The CZ 457 MTR is the best rifle in this class right now but finding one is the real issue. This is a bargain when you compare to the open class where the guns start at about $3500 (w/o) scope and go up.

Thanks,
Terry

I would trade for a b14r with some cash on my end if you happen to have one.
