I was talking bullets in this post. Sorry
I made some lead shot with the short drop into a bucket of water deal and had a flame under my sheet pan to keep it toasty and used the lee pot.
I ended up with tear drops the shape was not round at all. Mine took one bounce off the sheet pan.
Scrapped the project.
Later learned to make the shot round you need arsenic in the lead. Lead shot as the guy in the video was melting has that in it.
You can add lead shot to your regular pistol /rifle bullets that you cast to allow them to harden quicker when water dropped.
At least I have read that.
I also read they used to drip them from the top of a silo into water below and as the lead tumbled through the air it became round.
The pan under the dripper in the video is there to make the lead go round by bouncing it.
