If you’ve seen the prices of what old Marlins are selling for, that price isn’t too bad.
I can’t get my mind around a “tactical” lever action. I guess they have their place and a following, but it ain’t my cup of tea.

Nah, the 1873 was a latecomer. The original “load on Sunday, shoot all week” rifle was the Civil War-era Henry rifle.Ah Ha! This is YOUR FAULT!!! Actually, I thought the Winchester 1873 was the original "assault rifle."
