Centerfire Systems just got in a bunch of '43 dated 7.92x57 in the original German packaging. Buck a round by the individual box, cheaper in bulk. Either way its quite a bit less than the gunshow asking prices I've seen lately. More of a collectible than something to shoot up in my opinion, but it displays nicely with a K98k or other German firearm that shoots this caliber. https://centerfiresystems.com/product/8mm-german-s.m.k-ap-steel-core-15rd#product_detail

Does anyone know what all the markings mean?

I'm assuming the 'hlb' is the manufacture code.

Only thing I would be worried about is the stories of the prisoners who were making a lot of it sabotaged a lot.
