He made it to 74 until cancer got him.

He was a navy vet, surface fleet when he first enlisted during vietnam, then volunteered for sub duty.

He was far from perfect, but he tried. At 55 I can say I have a greater appreciation for all he tried to do when we were growing up.

Anyways its just us 3 brothers now.

The folks at Ft Sill National Cematery are top notch, he joins our mother who was buried there 12 years ago. Also hats off to the Patriot Guard who were there early for another navy vets service, offered to set up some flags for us, couple good guys we met.

I feel this man. Lost my father in 2018 and my mother last year. Now its just my brothers, my sister and me. Just remember you are 50% of each parent so you'll always have a part of them with you. That thought is what helped me through the hardest part of my grief.
