You guys should have went to the range this morning

I brought a 7.62x39 AR, FAL, 22LR AR, and some other that didn't get shot.

Beautiful morning.

Rez did a bunch of chrono work, I did a little bit of plinking.

Whew that FAL is a stubby sexy little thing! Is it a custom build or have had work done? Or is that an actual variant? I'm not the most up to date on the FAL lineup.

The super cool kids one. That I'd never been to before, so maybe I'm moving up in the world. But really I think I Mouthpiece and the universe was taking pity on me after my miserable experience at USSA this weekend.

That FAL was a nice thumper! Guess that means the 1884 trapdoor I brought was really bad. Sure it's throwing a 405 grain bullet from a 132 year old rifle with a most epic hair trigger....

Although the universe in order to do me a solid but keep me humble saw fit to grant Mouthpiece about a 2" group with the 500 @ 15 yards which was better than I do with my own dang gun. At least it proved my load was accurate enough when I don't suck.

That aint no BS, that 1884 trapdoor trigger went off and I hadn't even really put the pad of my finger on the trigger yet.

Originally 16" by DSA but I have modded most of it with different furniture, extended safety and Izzy fwd assist charge handle and bolt, alloy lower. Edit; also Izzy buttstock, L1A1 hgrd.
It's my first FAL and has over 5k rounds through it.

Yeah, you did a good job on those loads, I don't shoot that great and that group was pretty tight.
I don't think I have ever shot a 500 before.
