Incidentally, I predicted this exact situation years ago. In fact, I was working for a bankruptcy lawyer at the time, and predicted an uptick in personal bankruptcy filings as hours got cut to keep them below the cap that would make them eligible for insurance.

And the meeting may not have been recorded (it'd be great if it was), but a good reporter will interview multiple witnesses, just like a good lawyer would.

I thought Trump was not enforcing the ocare penalties. The issue is the ocare 30 hour rule that indicates full time employment. That was just a grasp to collect more taxes, it does nothing but hurt those who want to work more hours whether they want health insurance or not.

Employers shouldn't be forced to offer insurance.
