I have the same in my legs/feet and armsI have neuropathy in my strong arm and hand. As well ad a bunch of other places from injuries and surgeries. Don't get discouraged. Nerves regenerate at some INSANELY slow rate. Like a millimeter or 2 every 6 months or so. Don't quote me because I don't remember exactly what he said but the bottom line was that it can take YEARS for nerve damage to resolve. Good news is that nerves are weirdos. Some days you won't have problems at all ...
Up until my accident in October I was still shooting regularly, even with my messed up strong hand. Take the opportunity to strengthen your weak hand shooting. Hope your problem resolves quickly.
Oh and as far as typing, the muscles in your hand will compensate pretty quickly -- especially if you type every day ... I can still type at 70-80 wpm even on the days I cannot feel my fingers on my right hand.
It's good to hear you are progressing!!
Left arm is worse. I want to say the Dr said nerves heal at 1 millimeter per day but that sounds fast to me, so maybe im remembering wrong. I know after knee surgery when I was 19, my lower leg was numb for about 15 years
