I feel bad for you guys with boats with Summer approaching. I can't even imagine what the Marina's are charging.
This year I guess "boat" really does stand for Bust Out Another Thousand.
I spend more on fuel pulling my boat to the lake than what either of my boats use in fuel.
75 hp Mercury outboard and a 50 hp Mercury outboard both 2 stroke and about 6 gallons of fuel or less burned in a day on the lake for either.
That is just fishing.
If I pull a tube or ski and fish then double that .
I know some guys that go through way more fuel than I do though.
But it is taking some of the fun out of it with $5+ a gallon fuel.

That "cheap" gas at Casey's might be the E88 stuff. At least it is at the Casey's on US66 at the east side of Yukon. That is even worse than the 10% ethanol normal stuff.
Just missed that price jump yesterday morning by filling up at the QT by Hillcrest Hospital for 4.29 while my wife was at a doctor appointment. By the time I returned to Sand Springs for a trip to Reasors, the Prattville QT had made the jump.
I can fish all weekend without filling my 3 gal tank.

in 1.5 years the price has doubled, in another 1.5 years it will probably more than double at this rate. Think a republican change in the house and senate will help? I hope and pray so, however remember any bill they come up with has to be signed by the president whether it is biden or harris, and their handlers just won't have it. Meanwhile russia takes their cash to the bank.
