I'm thinking in terms of Federal or perhaps Speer. What 10mm load do plan to carry with? Seems like the 10mm loads that do well in FBI testing for duty use are running closer to 40S&W velocities.

What do you do with the gun when you have to go to Sill? In the trunk?Because it's 10mm I assume.
I don't go on post if I have one in my vehicle, they do random checks whenever. What do you do with the gun when you have to go to Sill? In the trunk?
Is that an N Frame in your pants or are you just glad to see me?
Just a suggestion........
I just picked one of these up too. Any suggestions on which moon clips are best? When I took Grant Cunningham's Threat Centered Revolver course in Phoenix about three years back, he suggested that I might want to try carrying this.
It is an S&W model 610 wheel gun in 10mm Auto /40 S&W. It has been under consideration as an EDC for quite a while, but for myriad reasons I was not able to make the change until recently. I am accurate with it and the weight tends to tame the recoil of the 10mm round. The moon clips make reloading quite fast and the 10mm round's ballistics make me think that it would be a good fight-stopper.
The disadvantages of the package center around the weight and bulk of the revolver itself. There is a lot of weight to carry and for some, the size of the N-frame makes it hard to conceal. I'm a big guy so the size is less of a factor for me than it may be for others.
In any event, I've decided to give the 610 a try as my EDC and see how it works.
Thoughts?
I just purchased a couple of packs of moon clips from TK Custom. These seem to work well and load/unload eaisly. Haven't had them long enough to talk about durability.I just picked one of these up too. Any suggestions on which moon clips are best?
Ranch Products are what I use.I just picked one of these up too. Any suggestions on which moon clips are best?
It's not that hard to load a wheelgun with one hand. I've done it a few times in the past. I do need to practice it more. Thanks for the reminder. What would you consider carrying if you only had one arm, a Revolver or Semi Auto?
I have seen a man with one arm, load a G17 using his teeth to insert mags and rack if he miss counted. I would think it hard to load a revolver with one’s teeth?
By all means carry what you want, afford, like, shoot well etc etc.
