I'd like to do some road trips but fuel prices tell me I should wait lol.
I want to visit Montana and surrounding areas again with a buddy of mine who's never been.
If you decide to make that drive, I REALLY enjoyed Lolo Pass going from SW Montana into Idaho.
My wife and I went through there many years ago. Beautiful.
If I had my way, I would either live in Orofino, ID or a small town very similar to its layout. That was some of my happiest moments I can remember sitting next to the river that splits the town and watching the salmon journey upstream.
Beartooth pass is the most desirable I want to see again. I've seen most all of them other than the one you mentioned but go to Red lodge MT in about Aug. and head up. its most beautiful.
