Thinking of getting in the Creedmor game. There’s a reason I think everyone’s shooting long range with them and why .308 is being left behind.

Anyone interested in trading a rifle chambered in either 6.5 Creedmor or 6mm Creedmor for my Ruger Precision Rifle chambered in .308win?

I’ll place my round count at I think around 300 rounds. It’s probably less though.

Discuss via PM.

Don’t have a trade for you, but good move if you are shooting long range. I had a really good 308 setup and it gets extremely challenging to get out towards 1000 yards. Switched to 6.5 and it’s night and day difference. Only downside is barrel life so pick something with good support/aftermarket items

Get both in a Siete or mrad type. Ammo availability will always be abundant with the .308/7.62x51. A buddy shoots competition and there is a 1371 yard target on the string of fire so you aren’t wrong about ballistics.

Does anyone like the old .243 winchester anymore?

I do , there's no appreciable ballistic difference between a 6mm creedmoor and a 243 but people got to re invent the wheel every so often. Before anyone comes along and says oh but I can shoot a 103 or 108 grain bullet with a creedmoor you can always build a custom 243 to handle the same .
