All the BRICS countries are trading in their national currency with the Yuan and the Ruble as primary. Rupees, Pesos, Rand, you name it, all backed by GOLD.. We are fcked.

I don't think many of us here understand the full ramifications if the Yuan becomes the base currency for global oil transactions. There have been some economists vocal over the last few years about it if this happens. JEVapa summed it up quite succinctly "We are fcked"

i have read that the number 1 export of the U.S. is the Dollar. if this collapses our debt will settle upon us because we won't be able to export it around the world anymore. and it will take decades to re establish our manufacturing base.
