Where they bust the sod in South Tulsa County.
How's your baby doing?? Better I hope ...
Izzie has a bronchial infection, acid reflux and them dang allergies. She's on an antibiotic, cough meds, omeprozole and apoquil / benedryl. Seems like we battle these allergies every year and they get progressivley worse.
Next month she'll get a blood test to see exactly what she's allergic to and then a monthly regime of shots. $Cha-ching$.

Blew $75 yesterday on a movie and dinner. That's significant for this retired senior citizen. Figured it was so hot that an afternoon matinee would be good. Movie sucked in my opinion.....my least favorite of all the Mission Impossible movies. Wish I had bought $75 of ammo.

Oh dang! That's a bummer. Grumpy's birthday is Sunday and I was thinking about surprising him and taking him to see it. Oh dear ... This is a conundrum.

Dang! I'm glad she's gonna be okay. It's amazing how expensive care can be. I mean I get it -- veterinary medicine is WAY more advanced than it was back in the day. Just like "people medicine". -- and they are our babies, that is for sure.

Here, but occasionally There.
Good evening, All. Got my latest eye injection this morning, and the doctor made a comment that I was a "poster patient" for the eye injection treatment and everything looks good. The injections won't cure the macular degeneration, but it will keep it somewhat at bay. He spoke of a woman that chose to stop the treatments and is now blind in that eye.

We called our work people to let them know the injection was done and we were free to go to work whenever. They called back about an hour ago and told us to go pick up our work van on Tuesday and head to Wichita Falls on Wednesday.

Looking forward to making more money and seeing some new country.

We saw it last weekend and loved it. We have been a huge fan of the Mission Impossible series. Loved everyone of them.

Good evening gang,
Made it to New Orleans with no trouble. The kids and our grandson picked us up at the airport. Took us to the hotel and hung out for a while. They took us out to Cochon’s restaurant tonight for dinner. Man it was good. Now we are sitting around drinking Tito’s and wine. Not together of course. Lol.
We are looking forward to spending the day with them tomorrow before we have to start working tomorrow night.
Hope everyone had a great day.

With the heat, ferocity of the mosquitoes, and the chance of rain, I got up yesterday morning and made the executive decision to head back home. It felt weird leaving without old Nick.
It appears I made the right decision, because my weather app shows they got 2.67” in the last 24 hours.
August 8th is my daughter’s move in day at her dorm, so after we drop her off, my wife and I are heading back up to the house, so I can mow the yard. I definitely don’t want to go 6 weeks between mowings again.
Hope y’all have a great day!!!
