Seeing some of Terry's pics made me think I have quite a few from interesting national parks, etc in our 65K miles of motorcycle trips. This one is probably one that a lot of folks haven't been to. It's 70 miles west of Key West, Fl in the Gulf of Mexico. The Dry Tortugas National Park, Ft. Jefferson. We took a 'fast catamaran' ride from Key West for a day trip.

@TerryMiller - glad to hear you are doing so well! Just be careful! I hope the therapist cleared you to attempt walking without the walker or cane. That might be dangerous if you push it too hard or quickly!

Oh, I have no intention of doing away with both the walker and cane. I will most certainly be using the walker during the 2 week period after the surgery, and especially so while outside with potential uneven ground. I might use the cane for indoors and on pavement or sidewalks.

I definitely don't want to mess up knees now that they are fixed.

Thanks for your concerns for me.

Good morning folks,
I was awaken at 3am this morning by a loud noise from our heater. Really loud banging. Thinking the fan is messed up or the fan motor is going out. Waiting for the wife to wake up to investigate. At least it going to be warmer this coming week. lol.
It’s cold and rainy up here at Grand. Heading back to OKC this afternoon for the work week.
Have a great day.

Ordered me a new Wheeler F.A.T. Stix with 12 Screwdriver Bits and 5 Torque Limiters. I couldn’t find my old torque screwdriver and I will need one to install the scope on the CZ. I ordered it yesterday and hope it gets here fast. LOL!!!

You'll find your old one now!

Well, I finally got tired of doing internet stuff on the phone, and the wife has been offering every day to get me a laptop or tablet to do this stuff. So, I'm using her laptop that I use when we are out doing our Summer work and staying in hotels.

Speaking of the Summer work, the state in which we work gives us a series of "records" that are sections of or full highways that they want worked. Those records have been a range from 16 feet to 30 miles in length. In the case of today's photo, Texas gave us a Farm/Market road to work. We started into that road and then ran across a barricade across the road, and this is the reason why.

If one looks closely, one can see a very small spot across the lake that is white in color. That's where the rest of the road sits. In such a circumstance, we work one part of the road, and then the wife creates a copy called the "B record" and then work the last half of the road.

Oh, and by the way, it is good to be back on the forums.

Had a lazy Sunday morning doing a few things around the house, then back to the hunting camp to help where needed. Only ended up cleaning one "bacon bit" (piglet) that one of the hunters shot, got home around 12:30 last night. Went to work today, then came home and rotated tires and changed all 4 shocks on my 95 Chevy flatbed truck. Bedtime now, yall have a good week!
