How do you know how far the target is out?

The pistol lanes are 25 yards and the rifle lanes are 30 yards. Use things in your general vicinity to guesstimate the yardage.

Rifle is 33yrds. The "V"s painted on the walls are in 10 yard increments.

Being old, I could be wrong but I believe it is thirty yards, not thirty three.

The rifle lanes are 30 yards, while the pistol bay is 25 yards. The large "V" on each wall are at 10 and 20 yards.

Also, on the pistol ranges the first line in front of you on the floor is 3 yards away, and I believe the second 5 yards. Good distances for defense practice, since that's where most encounters happen.
