I'll be the uninformed naysayer here.

$30K isn't what it used to be, but the the thought of scraping, banging, terrace jumping, mudding and generally thrashing a new and expensive vehicle just hurts my cheap bone.
Ever consider picking up a used, older jeep and saving the pretty stuff for the road?

Talk you out of it? How about: Are you really going to go on serious 4wd adventures with a $30k financed vehicle? (Other than just driving it through big mud puddles and parking it at work to look cool). You ready to tear it up before it's paid off?

I wish I had my 62 Willys back, 2 door window van but rust got the best of her
Nice ride thought I could not take it off roading real hard & tear it up though
