Anybody plan to get one when available?
I’m interested to check one out and see if the bluing looks as good as the originals.

Not a Python guy, but I am curious. I'm sure they will ugly it up with that stupid QR code on the right side of the frame ahead of the trigger like they did the stainless ones.

The QR code is clearly visible on the gun in the video. You'd think on a gun in that price range they'd put that in an out-of-the-way spot like under the crane or the grips. Still a nice gun.

Great question. A few years back, I bought a Colt “Concealed Carry” Government 1911 and it looked like they used water colors for the bluing. Great gun but the finish bothered me enough to get it cerekoted.

I saw a couple of pythons at Cabela's looked pretty good. Colt offers a bead blasted version. I looked at pics on buds and the bead blasted doesn't look too good. I have not seen the blued version.
