Make sure to check the date codes on any you buy. When they go out of date and need hydrotested again, some places will not refill them.I bought a new shop heater and will need a larger bottle.
Yes, the best is to buy a stationary tank. They can be bought at auction for about $1 a gallon. At Tractor Supply they are on sale for 129$$$ plus the gas if you have one close to you. Just bought 2 at that price! They probably won’t last long as the 30# are currently $179.
Regards,
Edit, buy the biggest you can fit and afford. Around here you have to have a 100 gallon tank for them to deliver to you. And the 100’s are heavy to lug around to fill!
Curiosity.....what's he asking?Neighbor has a 500 gal tank he wants to sell.
Yes sir, I've learned that lesson the hard way. I sent an email to ameri gas about these tanks.Make sure to check the date codes on any you buy. When they go out of date and need hydrotested again, some places will not refill them.
It’s a big liability on them if they do.
That's good news, thank youThere is a place on exchange in OKC That will inspect and fill them. Inspection was $20 , no parts were needed, but as long as you do not let them rust, the problems can be fixed .
