I bought a new shop heater and will need a larger bottle.
Make sure to check the date codes on any you buy. When they go out of date and need hydrotested again, some places will not refill them.
It’s a big liability on them if they do.

At Tractor Supply the 100# tanks are on sale for 129$$$ plus the gas if you have one close to you. Just bought 2 at that price! They probably won’t last long as the 30# are currently $179.

Regards,

Edit, buy the biggest you can fit and afford. Around here you have to have a 100 gallon tank for them to deliver to you. And the 100’s are heavy to lug around to fill!

Yes, the best is to buy a stationary tank. They can be bought at auction for about $1 a gallon.
500 gallon tank = $500. Much cheaper typically to buy in bulk vs refill a portable tank.

Yes sir, I've learned that lesson the hard way. I sent an email to ameri gas about these tanks.
