$579 AR15 at Walmart

At the Chickasha WM, saw the tag and did a double take. DPMS basic 16" flattop AR without front or rear sights.
Not sure of comparable store prices on one, but pretty decent retail price for a complete rifle. Wonder if WM will start an AR price war.

Was it a "Sportical"-like AR i.e. without forward assist or dust cover?

our wally world had them for 597. still a decent price for a basic ar.
