There used to be an old sub guy that came to gun shows and sold German-themed mugs. He was in his 80s, had a good looking wife in her 40s. Turns out he was on the 505.

He passed away quite a few years ago, I still have two mugs I purchased from him.

A former co-worker was on a sub during the cold war. He talked about tracking the Russian subs and getting a signature of their acoustic sounds. They knew which subs were in their area by that individual signature and also could identify whales that they used for practice. Dangerous work that keeps us safe.

Seriously doubt that I ever go to Chitown again, but if I do that's definitely on the list.

Same here - my 1 time there didn’t include nearly enough hours to fully experience the Museum of Science & Industry. Throw in the lovely bus ride through the ‘hood to get there & it’s a hard pass for me.

If you do go, hit up Chinatown on Archer. I've made the drive twice just to eat there.
