I wouldn't mind buying the setup, I just don't have an attention span at this time to learn. Is there a class for learning this?If you can make a knife, you can press kydex. I started with an oxy/acetylene torch with a few layers of carpet pad and a 2x12 to stand on it with. Attention to detail is more important than fancy presses. You got this.
A couple of YouTube videos would make you an expert. Heat the kydex, wrap the blade in hot kydex, use press of some sort. After that, cut and trim to shape then put a few rivets or eyelets where you see fit. Here’s one of the last ones I pressed.I wouldn't mind buying the setup, I just don't have an attention span at this time to learn. Is there a class for learning this?
lol it seems the things I over simplify tend to be more difficult. I thought it would be easy but I wasn't sure. Can you recommend a kit or where to buy the supplies?A couple of YouTube videos would make you an expert. Heat the kydex, wrap the blade in hot kydex, use press of some sort.
