I have several baitcasting rod/reel combos that I am selling.

All reels have new line on them, that was put on in February of this year.

Everything has been well maintained and in excellent condition.

I only took pictures of the reels, but if you need more description of the rods, just ask.

All rods have the longer 2 handed grips.

Each combo is priced in the description.

Abu Garcia 5500 HCL / Sweden
Spooled with 65 lb. Spider Wire braid / 7 ft. M.H. rod - $125

Abu Garcia Silver Max spooled with 14 lb. Spider Wire mono / 6' 6" M. rod - $75

BPS PROLITE Special spooled with 16 lb. Stren / 6" 6' M. rod - $75

More information on the Abu Garcia 5500 HCL -

This reel is NOT one from Walmart!

This reel came directly from Sweden.

This reel has been "Hot Rodded", meaning that it now has 5 bearings and the the complete drag system has been replaced with a newer and better drag system.

I also paired this reel with my new custom 7' 10" rod with micro guides. Medium Heavy action. Rod was made from a Fenwick HMG graphite rod blank.

If you know how to properly "thumb" a baitcasting reel, with this rig and modifications to the reel, you can easily cast a 3/4 oz. Mann's Little George in excess of 100 yards with ease. This set-up has caught a lot of stripers and more than a few big blue cats.

Price for this rod/reel combo is $400.

I will not sell just the reel by itself.
