I'd stick with the .40 on that one, Coded-Dude. The 9mm conversion barrel costs, in parts and the labor needed to fit the barrel to the slide, about what you could pick up a surplus 9mm Hi Power for from Cole's or Aim Surplus. I'd buy a beater MK III, shoot all the hot 9mm ammo I wanted in it, and keep the rather rare .40 BHP. I had a forty H-P with the SFS system and wish I'd never sold it. I've had several 9mm H-Ps, but that .40 is the one I'd want back.my hi power is in .40, but I have been meaning to get a 9mm barrel for it. it is my most accurate handgun.
