Course: (Level 3) Small Arms Combination Course No more than 12 Shooters!
This block of instruction is designed for the intermediate / advanced shooter that is ready to blend shooting fundamentals and advanced skill sets. The Combination Small Arms course will push the shooter into subconscious execution of the basics with carbine and handgun. We will draw upon skills learned in Carbine / Handgun 1 and 2 and blend them with proper use of cover and concealment, movement to set-up, shoot on the move, bi-lateral shooting concepts and more. If you are interested in pushing your mind and body this is the course for you!
*This course is designed around Urban and Close Quarters Battle (CQB) concepts. Shooters will be utilizing Carbine and Handgun in this course.
Pre-requisite: Carbine / Handgun Fundamentals and Advanced (or equivalent per instructor approval)

3. Review-Proper Loading / Press Checking / Un-Loading
4. Review-Dry/Live fire Fundamentals of Marksmanship from low/high ready (Stance or Position, Grip, Sight Alignment, Sight Picture, Breathing, Trigger Control and Follow Thru)
5. Review Malfunction Clearances (Phase 1 and 2)
6. Presentation / Post incident
7. Reload Series
8. Multiple Targets
9. Primary to Secondary Transitions
10. Lecture: Cover and Concealment (What, When and How)
11. Alternate Shooting Positions
12. Intro to Bi-lateral shooting
13. Movement to set-up (Bounding)
14. Shoot on the Move: Advance, Egress, Lateral
15. Incapacitated shooter drills
16. Low Light shooting Techniques
*All shooting from this course will begin from High/Low ready position slung and or holstered; Quality retention holster and at least 3 magazines per gun are required. Competition (3 Gun) or Tactical equipment is fine it just depends on what youre training for.
Course material requirements:
Carbine AR, AK, Mini 14/30 variant with a minimum 3 standard capacity magazines (Rentals available for $25.00)
Handgun with a minimum 3 standard capacity magazines or speed loaders for revolvers (Rentals available for $25.00)
350 (Minimum) to 500 rounds per gun center or rim fire quality ammo, 22 conversions welcome! (Ammo available for purchase for some calibers)
Duty Gear or Vest/Plate Carrier if applicable
Flashlight (Hand held and weapon mounted if you have one)
Personal protective equipment such as hat, glasses and hearing protection, knee pads
Proper range attire Long sleeve shirt/ weather appropriate (No loose collared shirts)
Bag lunch with water and sports drink (We eat on the range!!!)
