I hate to be the brother in law here, but can you tell me about this stuff? How big are the bags and what is a good way to sew?

The bags are 50# and the recommendation is to plant 2 bags per acre for a stellar food plot. The plot needs to be lightly tilled or disked and then broadcast the seed. Drag a piece of chain link or a bed spring over the plot to cover the seed. Fertilize with, preferably, 17-17-17 or 19-19-19. If you cannot get that then 10-20-10 will work, I suggest at least 100# of fertilizer/acre. Hope this helps. I have been planting food plots since 1987 and I have found that these oats are simple to plant and the deer hit them hard all winter. I have been using these for the last 3 years with excellant results.
